Abstract
La presente trata de un procedimiento y un dispositivo para la fabricación de ácido sulfúrico concentrado mediante una torre de absorción, Para absorber grandes cantidades de SO3 (ó H2O) en ácido sulfúrico de distintas concentraciones se propone que dentro de un absorbedor de cuerpos llenadores esté integrado un tubo vacío, alimentándose el gas y el ácido en la cabeza del tubo vacío y conduciéndose en cocorriente a la parte inferior del absorbedor de cuerpos llenadores postconectado, conduciéndose el gas posteriormente hacia arriba por los cuerpos llenadores, conduciéndose más ácido por encima de los cuerpos llenadores al absorbedor de cuerpo llenadores, mezclándose en el área de los cuerpos llenadores con el gas en un procedimiento por contracorriente, retirándose el gas de la cabeza del absorbedor de cuerpo llenadores y evacuándose el ácido del fondo del absorbedor de cuerpos llenadores.
