Abstract
Procedimiento de revestimiento por inmersión en continuo de una cinta metálica (1), en una cuba (11) que tiene un bano de metal (12) líquido, procedimiento en el cual se hace desfilar bajo atmósfera protectora en continuo la cinta metálica (1) en un conducto (13) cuya parte inferior (13a) está sumergida en el bano de metal (12) líquido para determinar con la superficie de dicho bano, una junta de estanqueidad (14). Se realiza una circulación natural del metal líquido, de la superficie de la junta a un compartimento de rebalse (25) dispuesto en dicho conducto (3) y que presenta una pared interna que prolonga el conducto (13) en su parte inferior y se mantiene el nivel de metal líquido en dicho compartimento (25) a un nivel por debajo de la superficie de la junta (14). Una instalación para la implementación del procedimiento, que comprende: una cuba que contiene el bano metálico; un conducto de paso de la cinta metálica cuya parte inferior esta sumergida en dicho bano bajo atmósfera protectora; un rodillo deflector de la cinta metálica dispuesto en el bano metálico; y medios de escurrido de la cinta metálica.
