Abstract

El dispositivo forma nieve a partir de fluidos de dioxido de carbono presurizados. Un conducto de suministro entrega un flujo de fluido presurizado. Unmiembro de expansion unido al conducto de suministro contiene una pluralidad de canales parareduci r la presion en el fluido y convertir el fluido con presionreducida en una corriente de fase mixta de gas y partículas finas de nieve. Los canales tienen un diámetro promedio y una longitud promedio de por lo menos dosveces su diámetropromedio. Una cámara de aglomeracion unida a la pluralidad de canales aglomera las partículas finas de nieve poniendo en contacto laspartículas finas de nieve.
