Abstract

Blanqueo catalítico de los sustratos -en especial, al lavado de telas- con el oxígeno atmosférico o el aire. Se provee un método para el blanqueo de unsustrato, el cual comprende la aplicacion al sustrato, en un medio acuoso, de un ligando específico, perteneciente a una clase seleccionada, el cual forma uncomplejo con un metal de transicion; el complejo cataliza el blanqueo del sustrato a través del oxígeno atmosférico. También se proporciona una composicionblanqueadora acuosa substancialmentedesprovista de blanqueador con peroxígeno o de un sistema de blanqueo generador de -o basado en- peroxi. También se proveeun método para el tratamiento de un material textil -como por ejemplo, telas para lavar- por el cual un complejo cataliza el blanqueo del material textilmediante el oxígeno atmosférico después del tratamiento. El catalizador puede usarse en forma seca o en un licor que luego se seca, como por ejemplo un fluidoacuoso para tratar telas rociándolas, o un licor de lavado para lalimpieza de la ropa sucia o un fluido de limpieza seco, no acuoso, o un fluido en aerosolpara rociar sobre los artículos. El método puede conferir beneficios de limpieza al material textil después del tratamiento. También se brinda un materialtextilseco que tiene un catalizador aplicado o depositado sobre sí, por el que el blanqueo mediante el oxígeno atmosférico se cataliza sobre el materialtextil.
