Abstract
Se describe un artículo absorbente envuelto individualmente, tal como un dispositivo catamenial. El artículo absorbente tiene los extremos primero ysegundo, los lados longitudinales primero y segundo, y las superficies principales primera y segunda.La segunda superficie principal tiene un adhesivo deunion a la prenda asegurado a la misma. La primera superficie principal de la envoltura se fija en formadesprendible al adhesivo de union a la prenda de manera que el primer extremo del artículo absorbente como mínimo está parejo con el primer extremo delaenv oltura. Cuando se sujeta así, el segundo extremo de la envoltura se extenderá más allá del segundo extremo del artículo absorbente y los lados primero ysegundo de la envoltura se extenderán lateralmente hacia afuera de los lados primero ysegundo de l artículo absorbente, respectivamente. Un dispositivo deunion está asegurado a la segunda superficie principal de la envoltura cerca del primer extremo. La envoltura y el artículo absorbente están doblados juntosalrededor de dos ejes dedoblez de ma nera que la primera superficie principal de la envoltura hace contacto con el dispositivo de union y está asegurada enforma desprendible al mismo para formar un paquete. El paquete tiene los bordes laterales primero y segundo alineadosen forma aprox imadamente paralela a loslados longitudinales primero y segundo del artículo absorbente, respectivamente. Un primer sello y un segundo sello aseguran juntos los bordes lateralesprimero y segundo. El paquete además contiene por lomenos una línea de p erforaciones formadas en la envoltura a un lado y hacia adentro de uno de los sellosprimero y segundo. La línea de perforaciones proporciona una característica de fácil abertura para el paquete.
