Abstract

Los ésteres de colofonia de colores claros y estables se pueden producir haciendo reaccionar colofonia con un compuesto orgánico que contiene dos o másgrupos hidroxilo separados entre sí por al menos cuatro átomos de C. Con la eleccion apropiada delcatalizador de esterificacion y de uno o más antioxidantes,los ésteres de colofonia pueden ser de utilidad como agente de pegajosidad y pueden ser formulados en una composicion adhesiva. Las composiciones adhesivascomprenderán además un polímeroadhe sivo apropiado.
