Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar oxo-alcoholes superiores a partir de mezclas de olefinas isomeras de 5 a 24 átomos de carbono por hidroformilacion en dosetapas, en presencia de un catalizador de cobalto o rodio, a elevada temperatura y a elevadapresi on, procedimiento en el que se hidrogena selectivamente lamezcla de reaccion que proviene de la destilacion en el alcohol crudo y en las sustancias de bajo punto de ebullicion compuestas en su mayor parte por olefinasse conducen estassustancias de b ajo punto de ebullicion hacia la segunda etapa de hidroformilacion, se vuelve a hidrogenar selectivamente la mezcla dereaccion que proviene de la segunda etapa de hidroformilacion, se destila esta ultima mezcla de hidrogenacion paraseparar el alcoho l crudo de las sustanciasde bajo punto de ebullicion , se trata el alcohol crudo por destilacion para obtener alcohol puro y se separa al menos una parte de las sustancias de bajopunto de ebullicion para posibilitar la salida delos hidrocarburos sat urados.
