Abstract
Un proceso para preparar un compuesto aromático de vinilo, tal como estireno. El proceso comprende fluidizar un catalizador de deshidrogenacion en unreactor de lecho fluidizado de corteza simple que contiene una zona de reaccion y una zona de regener acion; contactar un compuesto aromático de alquilo, talcomo etilbenceno, con el catalizador de deshidrogenacion en la zona de deshidrogenacion para producir el comuesto aromático de vinilo, tal como estireno; yregenerar el catalizador in situ al cont actar el vapor por el catalizador desactivado en la zona de regeneracion. Un reacto de lecho fluidizado se describe,caracterizado por una zona libre, zona de reaccion, y una zona de regeneracion del catalizador, todas dentro de una corteza simple .
