Abstract
Se proporciona un concentrador planar holográfico (HPC) (10) a fin de efectuar la recoleccion y la concentracion de la radiacion optica. El concentradorplanar holográfico (10) comprende una placa planar altamente transparente (12, 12) y por lo menos una película optica holográfica en multiplexion (14, 14)montada sobre una superficie de la misma. La película optica holográfica en multiplexion (14, 14) tiene registrada en ella una pluralidad de estructurasdifractivas que tienen dos o más regiones (14, 114, 214) las cuales se encuentran en multiplexion de manera angular y espectral. Dos o más de las regiones (14,114, 214) pueden estar configuradas para proporcionar la multiplexion espacial. El concentrador planar holográfico (10) es fabricado por medio de: (a) elregistro de una pluralidad de estructuras difractivas en dicha película optica holográfica en multiplexion (14, 14) que emplea técnicas de multiplexionangular, espectral, y de manera opcional, técnicas de multiplexion espacial; y (b) el montaje de la película optica holográfica en multiplexion (14, 14) sobreuna superficie de la placa altamente transparente (12, 12). El registro de la pluralidad de estructuras difractivas es dimensionado para la orientacionpropuesta del concen trador planar holográfico (10) hacia la energía solar. El concentrador planar holográfico (10) es montado en la orientacion propuestapara recolectar la energía solar, y por lo menos un dispositivo colector de energía solar (30) es montado a lo largo de por lo menos un borde del concentradorplanar holográfico (10). Ejemplos de dispositivos recolectores de energía solar adecuados (30) incluyen células fotovoltaicas y guías de luz de fibra opticapara la transmision de la luz recolectada en el inter ior de un edificio (44) para los propositos de iluminacion y para la transmision de la radiacion solarrecolectada dentro de un tanque de agua caliente para calefaccionar. El concentrador planar holográfico (10) permite la recoleccion eficiente de la energíasolar sin requerimientos costosos, mientras que hace mínima las pérdidas de energía.
