Abstract
Un circuito para controlar una estacion movil que opera en un entorno de llamada (paging) en ranura y un metodo para controlar una estacion movil. Elcircuito comprende un reloj de baja potencia (224) para generar una senal de reloj de baja frecuencia; un generador de senal de reloj para generar una senal dereloj de alta frecuencia, un circuito logico de sincronizacion (208) para sincronizar la senal de reloj de baja frecuencia con la senal de reloj de altafrecuencia; un estimador de error de frecuencia (217) para medir un error estimado de reloj de baja frecuencia; y un controlador de sueno (222)para quitaralimentacion del generador de senal de reloj (202) durante el valor corregido de duracion de sueno, conservando así energía entre las ranuras de llamada(paging) asignadas. Durante el período despierto, la senal de reloj de baja frecuencia es vuelta a sincronizar con el reloj de alta frecuencia, corrigiendoasí cualquier error de frecuencia en el reloj de baja potencia; menos preciso,durante el modo sueno.
