Abstract

Un procedimiento para convertir diciclopentadieno a ciclopentano y/o ciclopenteno, en el cual se carga diciclopentadieno a una columna de destilacioncatalítica, se craquea el diciclopentadieno a ciclopentadieno en la columna de destilacioncatalítica , se hidrogena el ciclopentadieno a ciclopentano en lacolumna de destilacion catalítica, y el ciclopentano se recupera de la columna de destilacion catalítica. El diciclopentadieno se carga y craquea aciclopentadieno en el fondo de lacolumna de dest ilacion catalítica. Luego se carga hidrogeno a la columna de destilacion catalítica por debajo de la zonacatalítica, donde se hidrogena el ciclopentadieno a medida que se produce, suprimiendo de esta manera la polimerizacion delciclopentadieno. Se c ondensa lacorriente en fase de vapor de ciclopentano y/o ciclopenteno resultante, produciendo de este modo una corriente líquida de ciclopentano y/o ciclopenteno, y unacorriente de vapor de hidrogeno y otros productos de gas deescape.
