Abstract

Se describe un producto de cereal gelatinizado, el cual contiene un material de planta que es una fuente de inulina; por ejemplo, achicoria. Seincluye suficiente material de planta para proporcionar por lo menos aproximadamente0,2 5% en peso de inulina en base seca. El producto de cerealpuede ser utilizado como un alimento para mascotas o cereal para desayuno. Se describe además el procedimiento para preparar dicho producto y la aplicaciondel material de planta paraincremen tar la capacidad de digestion del producto de cereal.
