Abstract

Una almohadilla absorbente de líquido alargada para controlar líquidos y/o recolectar derrames y filtraciones de líquido. La almohadilla incluye: (I) unaestructura absorbente de líquido sustancialmente uniforme alargada formada de una matriz demater ial fibroso que tiene una seccion transversal sustancialmentepoligonal; (2) una cubierta permeable al líquido flexible que encierra el nucleo absorbente, y (3) al menos un mecanismo de sujecion colocado por lo menossobre una porcion de lacubierta pe rmeable al líquido. El mecanismo de sujecion puede ser un sistema de sujecion de gancho-presilla, un sistema de sujecionmagnética, prendedores, broches a presion, sujetadores, argollas, ganchos, alfileres o similares. El mecanismo desujecion también puede ser una capa adhesivao una combinacion de sistemas mecánicos y adhesivos. El mecanismo de sujecion está adaptado para asegurar la almohadilla o relleno absorbente a una superficie,a otra almohadilla absorbente, o a undispositivo para secar lí quidos.
