Abstract
La invención se refiere a mejoras en un aparato de aire acondicionado para aumentar la capacidad de enfriamiento latente en el aire, particularmente paraun sistema de aire acondicionado de compresión/expansión emplea una serpentina subenfriadoradi spuesta en el lado del aire saliente de la serpentinaevaporadora interior. Un ramal de línea de líquido provee refrigerante líquido condensado desde el condensador a la serpentina subenfriadora, y un restrictorde flujo, que puede ser un TXV,baja la presión del líquido subenfriado antes de que el refrigerante llegue al dispositivo de expansión asociado con laserpentina evaporadora. Una línea de desvío conecta el condensador al al dispositivo de expansión, y tiene una válvulasolenoi de de línea de líquidoque es activada por un higrostato. Cuando se requiere deshumidificación, la solenoide se cierra y el refrigerante fluye a través de la serpentinasubenfriadora. Cuando el higrostato está satisfecho, la solenoide seabre y el l l camino del refrigerante se desvía de la serpentina subenfriadora. El armado desubenfriador de alta latencia puede hacerse a nuevo o ser colocado en un acondicionador de aire existente.
