Abstract

Un proceso para reducir el número total de ácidos (TAN) de alimentaciones de petróleo crudo entero o fracciones del mismo, que comprende:(a) el tratamiento termal de la alimentación en una zona de tratamiento, a un temperatura de por lo menos204 ° C durante un período de tiempo suficientecomo para reducir substancialmente el TAN, y (b) eliminar el vapor de agua durante dicho tratamiento termal.
