Abstract

Una composición formadora de espuma que tiene niveles mejorados de formación de espuma y estabilidad de la misma que consiste esencialmente en (a)un poliglicósido de alquilo de la fórmula general (I): R1O(R2O)b(Z)a en la cual R1 es un radical orgánico monovalente que tiene de aproximadamente 6 aaproximadamente 30 átomos de carbono, R2 es un radical alquileno divalente que tiene de 2 a 4 átomos de carbono, Z es un residuo sacárido que tiene 5 ó 6átomos de carbono, b es un entero que tiene un valor de 0 a aproximadamente 12, a es un entero que tiene un valor de 1 a aproximadamente 6 y (b) un sulfato dealcohol graso de la fórmula general (II): R3OSO3M, en la cual R3 es un grupo alquilo que contiene de 10 a 11 átomos de carbono y Mse selecciona del grupoformado por metal alcalino, metal alcalino-térreo y mezclas de los mismos, en una proporción de % de sustancias activas por peso de los componentes (a) : (b)de aproximadamente 1 : 10 a aproximadamente 10 : 1, respectivamente. Se provee, además, un método para formular la composición anteriormente descripta.
