Abstract

Un método de hacer un tejido de papel absorbente de tipo enlazado y cresponado que tiene mejoradas características de volumen y resistencia aldesprendimiento incluye los siguientes pasos: a) imprimir un patrón de baja densidad de unmater ial de enlace sobre el primer lado y el segundo lado de untejido de papel; y b) imprimir, en ninguna secuencia especial con respecto al paso a), un patrón de alta densidad de un material de enlace sobre el primerlado del tejido de papel. Lospasos a) y b) son desarrollados de manera que el patrón de alta densidad de material de enlace penetre dentro del tejido depapel una distancia que es entre alrededor del 166 y alrededor del 470 por ciento de la distancia a la cual penetradentro del tejido el patrón de bajadensidad de material de enlace. Esto da como resultado un tejido que tiene características de volumen y resistencia al desprendimiento superiores. Otracaracterística del producto es que el mismo tiene unpatrón visible de depresión en una superficie, pero no en la otra, lo cual crea un efectoestético atractivo además de beneficios funcionales.
