Abstract

Un balasto sin transformador para una lámpara de descarga gaseosa es revelado. El balasto consta de: un rectificador; un filtro para la salida delrectificador, un divisor de voltaje para la salida del fitro; un conmutador electrónico que modula por ancho de pulso y por frecuencia la salida del filtropara dar energía a la lámpara cuando la lámpara está encendida; un controlador que controla el conmutador electrónico sensible a las variaciones en impedanciade lámpara y a las variaciones en la salida del divisor de voltaje (y por lo tanto de variaciones en el voltaje de la línea); un oscilador que genera unasalida durante un período predeterminado de tiempo hasta después que la lámpara está encendida;y un amplificador que recibey amplifica la salida del osciladorpara dar energía a la lámpara cuando la lápara no está encendida.
