Abstract
Una planta de desecho-a-energía, que es disenada y operada para quemar desechos municipales, combina un ciclo de turbina/generador de vapor a altapresión y un ciclo de turbina/generador de combustión, en donde el gas de salida de la turbina de combustión (6) es utilizado para sobrecalentar (4) elvapor a alta presión antes de entrar a las turbina de vapor (8). La combinación del ciclo de turbina/generador de combustión con el ciclo de turbina/generadorde vapor permite la operación de la planta de desecho-a-energía a alta presión y alta temperatura, de eficiencia sumamente incrementada.
