Abstract

Accordingly, DNA constructs comprising the ALS3 Brassica promoter operatively linked to any number of different gene coding regions can be used for the constitutive and general expression of gene tissue in transformed plants. The ALS3 Brassica promoter is used to target the expression of agronomy-important genes and selectable marker genes.
