Abstract
Se fabrican dos o más partículas del aditivo de arena para adherirse uno al otro, usando un aglutinante. El producto acabado consiste de partículas quefluyen libremente que están compuestas de las partículas del aditivo ligadas juntas mediante unaglutinante. Estas partículas del aditivo ligadas luegopueden aplicarse a la arena, tal como las arenas de fundición, en donde por lo demás podrían ser necesarias adiciones múltiples del aditivo. El pH de laspartículas del aditivo individuales se puede controlar y la separación de los aditivos debido a gravedades específicas diferentes podrá evitarse. Se dan aconocer distintas mezclas de diferentes aditivos. Los métodos para controlar el tamano de la partícula de las partículas del aditivo, la tendencia para generarpolvo fino, degradar la resistencia a la tensión o controlar la expansión térmica de los núcleos o moldes de fundición usando las partículas de aditivoligadas, se dan a conocer asimismo.
