Abstract

Un aparato y método de extrusión para producir una tira perfilada de material composite, caracterizados por un cabezal de extrusión que tiene unapluralidad de canales de flujo que se extienden hacia una matriz de extrusión y por lo menos dos extrusoras para hacer avanzar los respectivos componentes bajorespectivas presiones diferentes al interior de los canales de flujo para su paso hacia la matriz de extrusión. La matriz de extrusión tiene una salida dela matriz en común desde la cuallos componentes son descargados de modo de formar la tira perfilada de material composite, y hay unos respectivosdispositivos para la restricción del flujo dispuestos en los canales de flujo entre las extrusoras y la matriz de extrusión. Los dispositivos para larestricción del flujo, operan de modo de disminuir la diferencia de presiones entre los componentes antes de que los mismos sean yuxtapuestos en la matrizde extrusión y además para atenuar o amortiguar el efecto de los cambios enla velocidad de las extrusoras, en el perfil de la tira perfilada de materialcomposite.
