Abstract

Quemador mejorado para un proceso de oxidación parcial, con punta rebajada y con inyección de chorro de gas a presión, teniendo dicho quemador pasajesanulares formados entre conductos coaxialmente alineados que se extienden desde fuentes superiores,o de corriente arriba, hasta una zona de reacción inferior,o de corriente abajo; una camisa exterior de enfriamiento presenta internamente una deflexión para obtener un óptimo flujo de enfriamiento y tiene un tamanoque define una mínima área inferior, o de corriente abajo, rodeando dicha camisa un conducto de alimentación, de oxidación de combustible, que estáretirado hacia adentro y que termina en una boquilla; el conducto de suministro central no está unido a la camisa enfriadora y el espacio anular entre losmismos está conectado a una fuente de alta presión de gas relativamente inerte que puede ser soplado periodicamente a través del espacio anular para evitarla formación de escorias sobre la boquilla o la camisa enfriadora.
