Abstract
Se describe un procedimiento para la producción del paraxileno a partir de una carga que contiene xilenos, en el cual se cristaliza una primera fracciónenriquecida a por lo menos el 30% en peso, en paraxileno, en una zona de cristalización (50) a elevada temperatura T1, siendo ventajoso que T1 se hallecomprendida entre +10 y -25°C, se recuperan cristales en suspensión en un licor madre, se separan los cristales en por lo menos una primera zona deseparación (52), se funden parcialmente los cristales obtenidos, en por lo menos una zona (55) de fusión parcial, y se recupera una suspensión decristales, se separan y se lavan los cristales en suspensión en por lo menos una zona (57) de separación y lavado, y se recuperan loscristales deparaxileno puro y un licor de lavado (58), y eventualmente se funden (61) por completo dichos cristales puros y se recupera una corriente líquida (60) deparaxileno fundido.
