Abstract

En un neumático para vehículos a motor, un elemento de soporte auxiliar (9) está interpuesto entre la capa de la carcasa (3) y la estructura del cinturón(6) para tener en forma estable, en los sectores de un tambor con acanaladuras (10), las bobinas(7a) formadas en forma consecutiva por enrollado de un cordónno extensible (7). El elemento de soporte auxiliar (9) está hecho en forma de una capa elastómera que contiene fibras de aramida cortas en una cantidadincluída entre 1 y 10 phr. para aumentar la extensibilidad de dicho elemento sin desmejorar las características de adhesividad del mismo. La introducción delas fibras de aramida cortas en la mezcla permite reducir el espesor del elemento de soporte auxiliar (9) hasta valoresde 0,075 mm. También se refierea un procedimiento para fabricar dichos neumáticos.
