Se describe un artículo absorbente (10), en especial una compresa femenina, con la siguiente estructura: una capa inferior impermeable a los líquidos (12)que, durante el uso del artículo absorbente, se encuentra en la cara opuesta al cuerpo; unacapa de almacenamiento primario (14) situada encima de la capaimpermeable a los líquidos (12); una capa de almacenamiento secundario (20) situada encima de la capa de almacenamiento primario (14); una capa decompensacion (32) situada encima dela cap a de almacenamiento secundario (20); una capa de recubrimiento (34) situada encima de la capa de compensacion (32),provista de una abertura central (36), así como una capa superior permeable a los líquidos (40) que, durante el uso delartículo abs orbente, se encuentradirigida hacia el cuerpo.
