Abstract
Derivados de la 4-hidroxi-piperidina de la formula general (I) en donde: X es -O-, -NH-, -CH2-, -CH=, -CHOH-, -CO-, -S-, -SO-, o -SO2-: R1-R4 son,independientemente la una con respecto a la otra, hidrogeno, hidroxi, alquilo inferior-sulfonilamin o, 1- o 2-imidazolilo o acetamido; R5-R8 son,independientemente la una con respecto a la otra, hidrogeno, hidroxi, alquilo inferior, halogeno, alcoxi inferior, trifluormetilo o trifluormetiloxi; a y bpueden ser un enlace doble, con lacondicion de que, cuando a sea un enlace doble, b no puede ser un enlace doble: n es 0-2; m es 1-3; p es 0 o 1 ysales de ésta, aceptables desde el punto de vista farmacéutico; su utilizacion para fabricar medicamentos; un procedimiento paraprepararlos y medicamentos que los contienen. Estos compuestos son bloqueantes selectivos del subtipo receptor de NMDA(N-metil-p-aspartato), los cuales se puedenutilizar en procesos mediadores subordinados al desarrollo de la CNS, incluyendo la funcion del aprendizaje y formacion de memoria.
