Abstract

Las dispersiones/partículas de hidrogel son capaces de atraparagentes beneficiosos insolubles en agua y capaces de desintegrarse suavemente para impartir características deseables de uso.It refers to an aqueous composition containing a hydrogel vehicle comprising: (a) 40-95% by weight of an aqueous solution having a viscosity greater than 300 centipoise; and (b) 5 to 60% by weight of a hydrogel composition comprising: (i) 0.1 to 30% by weight of a hydrogel composition of at least one water soluble polymer, which polymer is insolubilized when placed in the aqueous solution of item (a); (ii) 0.2 to 30% by weight of a hydrogel composition of a polymer soluble in water and soluble or dispersible in the aqueous solution of item (a); and (iii) 1.0 to 60% of a beneficial agent insoluble in water that is trapped in a network formed by (i) and (ii); wherein said particles of said beneficial agent (iii) have a particle size of 0.2 to 200 micrometers; where said hydrogel is greater than 25 micrometers; and where the size of the hydrogel (b) is greater than the beneficial delagent. It also refers to its use and a procedure to prepare it. Hydrogel dispersions / particles are capable of beneficial agents insoluble in water and capable of gently disintegrating to impart desirable characteristics of use.
