Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación selectiva de ácido acético a partir de un material gaseoso de alimentación, constituido por etano, etileno o mezclas deellos así como oxígeno, a temperatura elevada, en el cual el material gaseoso de alimentacióne s reunido con un catalizador, que contiene los elementos Mo,Pd, X e Y en las relaciones, expresadas en átomos-gramo a:b:c:d en combinación con oxígeno: Mo(a)Pd(b)X(c)Y(d) (I) teniendo los símbolos X e Y los siguientessignificados: X representauno d e varios elementos que se seleccionan entre el grupo formado por: Cr, Mn, Nb, Ta, Ti, V, Te y/o W; Y representa uno ovarios de los elementos que se seleccionan entre el grupo formado por: B, Al, Ga, In, Pt, Zn, Cd, Bi, Ce, Co, Rh, Ir,Cu, Ag, A u, Fe, Ru, Os, K, Rb, Cs, Mg,Ca, Sr, Ba, Zr, Hf, Ni, P, Pb, Sb, Si, Sn, TI y U; los índices a, b, c, d y x representan las relaciones, expresadas en átomos-gramo, de los correspondienteselementos, siendo a=1, b>0, c>0 y d=0-2 y elcatalizador de fó rmula (I) para su exclusivo uso en dicho procedimiento
