Abstract
Es la síntesis de poliéster de poliol de ácidos grasos que usa catálisis de transferencia de fase, la cual es usada en una amplia variedad de procesosquímicos donde uno o más límites de fase existen y uno o más constituyentes deben cruzar un límite de fases. Se provee una mezcla de reacción para fabricarpoliesteres de poliol de ácidos grasos comprende un poliol, un éster alquílico inferior de ácidos grasos, un iniciador de base y un catalizador detransferencia de fase. El catalizador de transferencia de fase puede ser un compuesto de amonio cuaternario, un éter corona, un polietilenglicol, un éterde polietilenglicol, un éster de polietilenglicol o mezclas de éstos. El proceso para fabricar poliésteres de poliol de ácidos grasos se realiza a bajastemperaturas o esencialmente en ausencia de un disolvente o emulsionante. La corriente de producto de poliéster de poliol de ácidos grasos que se producemediante el proceso anterior y la mezcla de reacción tienen una concentración más baja de subproductos de reacción tales como quetonas di-grasas y beta-quetoésteres y de subproducto acaramelado que resulta de la descomposición del reactivo de poliol.
