Abstract

Se provee un proceso para preparar materiales de base para aceites lubricantes a partir de un material de carga que contiene azufre usando unhidrotratamiento suave, seguido por isomerización/desparafinado, seguido de hidrogenación sobreun catalizador de hidrogenación resistente a azufre. Unmaterial de carga de petróleo es sometido a una etapa de hidrotratamiento suave en condiciones que incrementan el índice de viscosidad del material de cargacon un bajo grado de conversión. Elace ite hidrotratado es hidrodesparafinado e hidrogenado usando un catalizador de hidrotratamiento de metal noble resistenteal azufre. El uso del catalizador resistente al azufre permite producir un material de base para aceites lubricantes dealta calidad a partir de unmaterial de carga que contiene un alto porcentaje de azufre usando condiciones de hidrotratamiento suaves.
