Abstract

Suministra una disposición y procedimiento de procesamiento de datos para transmitir facsímiles en una red de transmisión de datos a larga distancia,lo cual permite al abonado un costo rebajado de transmisión de facsímil, comprendiendo; unadiversidad de puntos de presencia; una red privada virtual;medios de procesamiento de encaminamiento y autorización; y medios de procesamiento de facturación y finanzas; en donde una diversidad de máquinasde facsímil emisoras y una diversidad de máquinas de facsímil receptoras son conectables a cualquiera de la variedad de puntos de presencia y en la cualel usuario transmite un facsímil con un medio de senalamiento vía la máquina de facsímil emisora al punto de presencia; el punto de presenciainterpreta los datos en los medios de senalización y pasa los datos a los medios de procesamiento de encaminamiento y autorización; la base de datos deencaminamiento y autorización autoriza y encamina al facsímil y pasa los datos de facturación a los medios de procesamiento de facturación y finanzas y endonde al recibir el encaminamiento y autorización, el punto de presencia encamina el facsímil vía la red privada virtual a las máquinas de facsímilde destino.
