Abstract
Se relaciona con un proceso para la preparación de polipropileno rígido, con un propileno resistente al movimiento longitudinal preparado mediantedicho proceso y con el uso del mismo, por ejemplo para aplicaciones en canos, fibras, perfiles ymo lduras. El polipropileno contiene de 1,0 a 10% porpeso de unidades de repetición de etileno y que tiene un índice de IFF2 (indice de Fluencia en Fusión) de entre 0,05 y 0,40 g/10 min. y se prepara,mediante la polimerización de propileno yeti leno o una alfa-olefina C4-C10 en presencia de un sistema de catalizador, cuyo componente procatalizadores un producto de la reacción de por lo menos un compuesto de titanio tetravalente y un compuesto haluro de magnesio y uno decuyos componentescocatalizadores comprende un compuesto organoaluminio, e hidrógeno como agente regulador del peso molecular, para dar dicho polipropileno. Laresistencia al movimiento longitudinal del polipropileno mejora mediante laejecución del proceso mediante los siguientes pasos: (a)copolimerización depropileno y etileno en un copolimero al azar de 40 a 110°C utilizando un sistema de catalizadores del tipo mencionado; una porción de etileno oalfa-olefina C4-C20 paraobtener 1, 0 a 10,0% por peso de etileno o unidades de repetición de una alfa-olefina C4-C20 en dicho copolímero al azar; y unacantidad escasa o nula de hidrógeno para producir un valor de IFF10 de entre 0,01 y 5,0 g/10 min. para dichocopolímero al azar, s i este paso serealiza en primer lugar, o un valor de IFF2 para dicho polipropileno de entre 0,05 y 0,40 g/10 min, si este paso se lleva a cabo después del paso (b); laproporción de copolímero al azar de este paso es de 20 a80% por peso de dicho p olipropileno, (b)polimerización de propileno de 40 a 110°C utilizando un
