Abstract

Durante los pasos (a) y (b)para formar cada artículo con forma(16), una porción del material siendo distribuido se adhiere en el exterior de la boquilla de distribución (14) paraque no forme parte del artículo comestible con forma (16) siendo formado en esta etapa pero ajena a la boquilla (14) durante el próximo paso sucesivo (a)para definir un aspecto visible sobre el próximo artículo comestible con forma (16) sucesivo. During steps (a) and (b) to form each shaped article (16), a portion of the material being dispensed adheres to the outside of the dispensing nozzle (14) so that it is not part of the shaped edible article (16 ) being formed at this stage but unrelated to the nozzle (14) during the next successive step (a) to define a visible appearance on the next successive shaped edible item (16). The relative movement in step (b) is effected in at least three consecutive stages such that each stage includes relative movement in a different direction than that in the adjacent stages. Alternatively or additionally during step (a), more than one volume is dispensed and step (b) is performed between the distribution of consecutive volumes and / or during the distribution of at least one of said volumes.
