Abstract

Un método y aparato para la verificación adaptativa de presencia de estación móvil en un sistema celular. La verificación de presencia de estaciónmóvil sólo se realiza para las transferencias peticionadas seleccionadas, de una primera estación de base a un segunda estación de base, donde lastransferencias peticionadas seleccionadas se eligen en base a una proporción de verificaciones de presencia de estación móvil por transferencias peticionadas,de la primera estación de base a la segunda estación de base, que se modifica en forma adaptativa a medida que se producen las transferencias . En unarealización de la invención, la proporción de verificaciones de presencia de estación móvil por tranferencias peticionadas, de la primera estación estaciónde base a la segunda estación de base, se modifica en forma adaptativa en base a la proporciones insatisfactorias por intento de verificación, y la proporciónde transferencias insatisfactorias por intentos de transferencia peticionadas, de la primera estación de base a la segunda estación de base.
