Abstract

Un aparato humectante (110) para humectar un catéter urinario hidrófilo (103), que comprende un receptáculo humectador (101) el cual define un área derecepción de fluido humectante (102) para recibir el catéter urinario hidrófilo y un recipientede fluido humectante de catéter urinario hidrófilo (106) quetiene una salida de descarga (126) movible desde una posición cerrada al aplicarsele una condición predeterminada para permitir que el fluidohumectante sea descargado del recipiente de fluido humectante. El recipiente de fluido humectante provisto puede ser ubicado en el receptáculo humectadoren una posición operacional en la cual por lo menos la salida de descarga del recipiente de fluido humectante está dispuesta dentro de los límites delreceptáculo humectador estando el receptáculo construida de tal manera y estando el recipiente de fluido humectante dispuestos de tal manera en relaciónal receptáculo humectador cuando está en posición operacional, que laaplicación de la condición predeterminada a la salida de descarga delrecipiente de fluido humectante cuando está en la posición operacional permite que el fluido humectante sea descargado adentro del área de recepción de fluidohumectante para humectar el catéter hidrófilo.
