Abstract

An isolated nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding and H.pylori polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence that has at least 60% homology with an amino acid sequence selected from the groups: Sequences 76, 98, 121, 83, 89, 118, 108, 110, 80, 112, 128, 91, 92, 101, 103, 125, 127, 129, 131, 74, 115, 87, 116, 84, 144, 90, 130, 78, 79, 81 and 94 as disclosed in the specification. Further claimed is a probe, recombinant expression vector, cell containing the vector, and method for producing an H.pylori polypeptide by culturing the cell containing the vector. Also claimed is a vaccine and use of the vaccine to treat Helicobacter pylori infection.
