Abstract
For bestemmelse av glukosekonsentrasjonen i en biologisk matriks (10) sendes primærlys inn gjennom en grenseflate (11) for matriksen og detekteres ved samme grenseflate etter at lyset ved vekselvirkning med matriksen (10) har fremvist endringer av fysikalske egenskaper som deretter kan korreleres med konsentra- sjonen av glukose i matriksen. Glukosekon- sentrasjonen bestemmes på basis av end- ringene av en fysikalsk egenskap hos lyset, etter en utført kalibrering. For å få god analysenøyaktighet uten bruk av reagenser og ikke-invasiv, for eksempel for å observere endringer av analyttkon- sentrasjonen (løpende kontroll) over et større tidsrom, bestemmes først en parameter for lyset mellom et innstrål- ingsområde (17) og et nærmere bestemt deteksjonsområde (18), for å gi et mål på den søkte glukosekonsentrasjon inne i den biologiske matriks (10).
