The emulsifier is the product prepared by the reaction of component (A) with component (B), wherein component (A) is at least one substituted succinic acylating agent. wherein the substituted succinic acylating agent consists of substituent groups and succinic groups, wherein the substituent groups are derived from a polyalkene, the acylating agents are characterized by the presence of an average of at least 1.3 succinic groups for each equivalent weight of substituent groups, and ) is ammonia and / or at least one amine.
