Abstract

Fremgangsmåter for stabilisering av f ibroblastvekst-faktor (FGF) i varme, syre og/eller proteolytiske miljøer, er tilveiebragt.Slike fremgangsmåter omfatter kombinering eller på annen måte kompleksdannelse av FGF med et salt av sukkroseoktasulfat (SOS) og spesielt med aluminium (sukralfat) eller kaliumsalter derav. FGF-stabile sammensetninger omfattende SOS og FGF er også tilveiebragt. Slike sammensetninger kan bli anvendt for behandling av FGF-responderende sykdommer, inkludert behandling av sår og sårtilstander innen mavetarmkana-len. Forskjellige diagnostiske protokoller som anvender SOS samt diagnostiske kit med SOS som en komponent derav, er også tilveiebragt.Fremgangsmåter for rensing av FGF med SOS er beskrevet.
