Nye benzazolderlvater med formel I. hvori X er oksygen eller svovel, Rj er lavere alkyl, lavere alkenyl eller cykloalkyl, eventuelt substituert, Eog Eer hver uavhengig av hverandre hydrogen, laverealkyl eller cykloalkylrester eller danner sammen en substituert eller usubstltuert blvalent hydrokarbonrest med allfatlsk karakter, hvori karbonatomene til kjeden kan være avbrutt av et heteroatom, Rer enten en gruppehvori Rog Rf, uavhengig av hverandre er hver hydrogen, lavere alkyl eller cykloalkylrester, eventuelt substituert eller Rog Rj, danner sammen en substituert eller usubstltuert blvalent hydrokarbonrest med allfatlsk karakter hvori karbonatomet til kjeden kan være avbrutt av et heteroatom eller Rer en gruppe. hvor Rer en lavere alkylgruppe og saltene og N-oksydene derav er beskrevet.
