Described is a transport container (1) made of textile fabric, the container walls (7, 8, 9, 10) being made from at least one strip of fabric (7, 8, 9, 10) and having at least one longitudinal seam (11, 12). The container is characterized in that the single longitudinal seam (21) or the several longitudinal seams (11, 12) are flush-sewn. The flush-sewn seams (11, 12, 21) are preferably produced using chain stitches.
