Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer flerlags mellomsjikt som har et mykt indre polymersjikt og relativt stive ytre lag som kan bli laminert uten uakseptabel optisk forvrengning og anvendt i forskjellige flerlags glassplatetype applikasjoner. Flerlags mellomsjikt ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse har overflatetopografi som blir dannet ved å kontrollere smeltebruddet som forekommer på den eksponerte overflate av mellomsjiktet eller individuelle lag av flerlags mellomsjiktet, under dannelse av mellomsjiktet. Ved nøye å kontrollere overflatetopografien til mellomsjiktet, fører ikke laminering av mellomsjiktet med et rigid substrat til uakseptabel optisk forvrengning forårsaket av overføringen av overflatetopografien gjennom ytre, stivere sjikt til mykere, indre sjikt av mellomsjiktet.
