Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å kalibrere distribuerte temperaturavfølingssystemer (DTS-systemer) er beskrevet. Fremgangsmåten omfatter: å motta temperaturdata tilordnet en eller flere posisjoner langs en lengde av en optisk fiber; å beregne et sett med unike kalibreringskoeffisienter som er spesifikke for hver av den ene eller de flere posisjonene langs fiberlengden; og å anvende settet med kalibreringskoeffisienter som er spesifikke for hver av den ene eller de flere posisjonene langs fiberlengden, på temperaturdataene for kalibrert korreksjon av disse. Det er også beskrevet et system for å kalibrere DTS-data, samt et brønnhull for å tilveiebringe kalibrerte DTS-data.
