Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse er et system og en fremgangsmåte for tidssynkronisering av et mangfold av basestasjoner i et trådløst kommunikasjonssystem. Systemet bestemmer et estimat for en tidsnøyaktighet assosiert med hver basestasjon. Når en basestasjons tidsnøyaktighet er over en terskel bestemmer systemet om det er en nabobasestasjon som har en bedre tidsnøyaktighet. Basestasjonen som er over terskelen blir justert som svar på en estimert differanse mellom basestasjonen og nabobasestasjonen.
