Abstract

A skateboard with improved handling has a tubular support frame with a large front wheel (3) mounted between front forks and steerable about a castor angle. The rear of the board has either a large single rear wheel held between rear forks or has two rear wheels. The front wheel can be a double design and the rear wheels are braked by a foot operated brake. The support platform is low slung and set below the level of the tops of the wheels.
