Abstract

Denne oppfinnelsen gjelder en metode for å inhibere kor-rosjonen av metalloverflater behandlet med flussmidler. Metoden omfatter trinnet med å la den flussmiddelbehandlete metalloverflaten komme i kontakt med en formulering som omfatter en korrosjonsinhiberende blanding som omfatter en eller flere monokarboksylsyrer, eller salter eller isomerer av -disse,- og-en--ef fektiv mengde av et korrosjonsinhiberende overflateaktivt stoff slik som et vannløselig nitrat av et alkali- eller jordalkalimetall. Denne metoden har vist seg å være en forbausende effektiv måte til å inhibere kor-rosjonen av metalloverflater behandlet med flussmidler og funnet i kjølesystemet til interne forbrenningsmotorer.
