Abstract

The skate binding for connecting a boot to a blade includes a toe section with a curved rim. The boot (1) is clamped to blade (7) which is connected to a holder (6). The clamp section includes a toe piece (3) with a curved rim (2). Toe piece is by means of bolt (5) fixed to sleigh (4). The boot is further supported by a sole plate (9) made of 1.5 mm thick Aluminium providing a secure but flexible connection. The protruding sole plate (16) with covering heel piece (17) includes a hand grip (18).
