Abstract

The drawing is transferred from a carrier using heat and vacuum. Heat is applied to the carrier and to the material to be printed before the transfer operation starts, after which the heated items are subjected to the vacuum. The material to be printed can be cooled at the time of the transfer, and while this is being done the carrier can be heated. Material may be textile. Pre-heating of the material stops simultaneously when vacuum is established.
