Abstract

Conveyor for use in plant for thermal treatment of goods packed in containers consists of a chain with links on each of which carriers for the containers are fixed with their axes parallel to the pivot pins of the chain. Each link has at least one set of carriers arranged with mirror-image symmetry on either side, the body of the link being reduced in width between each set of carriers relative to the width of the other zones, while the carriers enclose, wholly or in part, the space provided for the containers.
